Terms of use & course purchases

Written courses. Clear expectations.

1. Scope and seller

These terms concern nikvanderkamp.com and its learning tools, operated by Nik Vanderkamp, 1000 Rue De la Gauchetière O, Montréal, QC H3B 5A7, Canada. Email: hello@nikvanderkamp.com. See the contact page. The purchase provisions below remain a draft while enrollment is closed. A live order must show the complete seller information and agreed offer before payment.

2. What the courses include

The selected product page and order summary specify the included materials. Courses are self-paced written lessons with examples, prompts and exercises. They are not recorded video classes, accredited qualifications, done-for-you services or AI generation subscriptions. No individual coaching is included unless expressly listed.

3. Requirements and separate costs

You need an internet connection and a current browser. Exercises can require accounts with external AI or website platforms. Platform plans, generation credits, domains, hosting and other third-party charges are purchased separately. Platform features and prices can change. No specific external plan or output is guaranteed.

4. Ordering, price and delivery

Courses are intended as one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions. Prices are in USD unless the final checkout expressly shows another currency. Review the course, total price, applicable taxes, currency and access period before payment. You can close checkout or return to correct your selection. A completed payment is confirmed by the payment provider; course access is delivered to the purchase email after payment verification.

Each course purchase includes lifetime access to the purchased course from verified payment, with no scheduled expiry or renewal fee. Downloadable materials may be kept for your own use under the license below; course downloads must no longer be used or shared after a full refund. Access covers the purchased course or the courses expressly listed in a purchased bundle, not all future courses. Your account provides a downloadable purchase record and the policy versions saved for your order. Keep these alongside your payment receipt. Current test orders do not charge you or establish paid access.

5. Your materials and license

A purchase gives the named learner permission to study and use the purchased materials. You may adapt the prompt templates to create your own work, including work for your business or clients, subject to the rights and terms governing your inputs and outputs. You may not resell, redistribute or publish the course, ebooks or prompt collection as your own product, or share purchased account access. Team access requires a separate agreement.

You retain rights you already have in materials you bring to exercises. Do not submit confidential information or other people's personal information to an external AI tool without appropriate authority. No course license grants rights to a celebrity's likeness, a trademark, a photograph or another person's work.

6. Access and acceptable use

Keep sign-in links private. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the website or use it unlawfully. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to protect accounts or respond to misuse; applicable consumer remedies remain available. Save or export browser-based exercises because clearing browser storage can remove them.

7. Refunds and changes

A 14-calendar-day refund guarantee applies from the date of payment. See refunds and cancellation for how to request it. Statutory remedies take priority over a voluntary policy. Material changes to an existing purchase cannot remove rights already promised in its contract. Future revised terms will carry a new date; continuing to browse is not consent to a new paid purchase.

8. Results, responsibility and disputes

Results depend on your work, tools, costs and circumstances. No earnings, clients, rankings, platform approval or equivalence to a particular agency budget is guaranteed. See the AI disclosures. Nothing here excludes mandatory warranties or remedies, imposes mandatory arbitration, or removes a consumer's right to use a competent court or regulator. Applicable Québec and Canadian law and any other mandatory consumer protections remain relevant.
