Optional interaction measurement is off until you allow it. You can change the choice at any time. Declining does not prevent access to lessons or checkout.
What is stored
- Access and offer cookies
- Production: __Host-core-session (up to 30 days) and __Host-core-visitor (up to one year). Local preview: core_visitor (up to one year). Used for sign-in, offer continuity and checkout validation. The offer identifier is also associated with offer records even when interaction measurement is declined.
- core.measurement
- Your allow/decline preference, held in browser local storage until changed or cleared.
- Learning and planning storage
- nik.learning-notebook.v1, nik.practice.v1, nik.website.workbench.v1, nik.digital.workbench.v1, nik.project-draft and core.lesson.v1 hold exercises or drafts. Preview/QA versions use separate keys. These remain until you clear them.
- Offer and local event storage
- core.price.v1 stores a local offer assignment. core.events.v1 is a local interaction log used only when measurement is allowed. Declining clears this local event log. Previously recorded server events are not erased by withdrawing future consent.
External checkout
Stripe or Lemon Squeezy may use cookies on their checkout for payment, security and fraud prevention. Consult the provider's privacy policy linked in our privacy policy.
Clear browser data
Your browser's site-data settings let you remove cookies and local storage for this domain. Export notes and plans first: clearing storage deletes local work and can sign you out. Clearing local data does not delete server-side order records.
Meta advertising
When enabled, Meta Pixel and Conversions API run only after you allow advertising tracking. They may share page visits, course selection, checkout and confirmed purchase events, price and currency, browser user agent, Meta browser/click identifiers and a SHA-256 hash of your purchase email. Hashing does not make matching data anonymous. Meta may use this for ad measurement, optimization and audiences. Advertising is separate from website analytics.
Meta cookies _fbp and _fbc can last up to 90 days. Your advertising preference is stored as nik.meta-consent.v1 for up to 180 days. Declining stops future event delivery and removes these cookies where this website can remove them. Already-delivered data is not recalled.
Landing page comparisons
We use the offer identifier to keep your assigned page copy and price consistent, and associate that assignment with checkout and order records. Aggregate reports compare course purchases between versions. Page context includes a broad device category and a campaign source label from the link you followed. Optional click, scroll and time measurements remain off until you allow them. The private owner dashboard does not display customer emails or access links.
